After much research and data collection from across our school community the wheels are in motion to set our course of development and growth for the next few years. It was most reaffirming to have the hard work and excellent efforts of our students and staff realised and valued by our very supportive community. Much quality information was gained also which has informed our new strategies to take our school to even greater heights in the future.

A key part of our Revisioning process is the focus on a Values Centred approach to be the driving force in all that we do. This guiding set of principles will influence greatly the work of staff, attitudes and behaviour of students and our parents. As a professional community we have analysed the basic sets of principles necessary for quality human behaviour and effective relationships. These have been “unpacked” in regard to what these principles look like, sound like and feel like in the behaviours we should see by all in our school community.
These Values Principles include: respect, integrity, commitment, justice, honesty, compassion and courtesy.
Success in Action is our theme which forms the foundation of our values centred approach. This combined with Academy programmes and Accelerated Learning programmes, rigorous teaching and rigorous learning, all students are assured of quality educational outcomes.
Staff have developed clarity around behaviours which demonstrate these values principles and these are the behaviours guiding our teaching and learning practice. Behaviours opposite to our guiding Vaules Principles are not desirable in our school from students, staff or parents.
This has been a truly reaffirming and uplifting initiative for all involved as we develop our plans to make our school even more relationships focussed ensuring the delivery of optimal learning outcomes for our students.
If you would like to know more or get more directly involved in this process don’t hesitate to contact me.
Yours in education,
