NAPLAN 2016 Performance

Narangba Valley High Continues to Make Outstanding NAPLAN Gains

In news just in, Narangba Valley High Year 9 students have surpassed Queensland State Schools in all areas assessed by the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN).

These results are testament to the outstanding efforts of our students and teachers who have worked so hard to improve outcomes within the school.


Key Results to Celebrate Include:

  • Writing results 32 points above the Qld State Schools mean.
  • Grammar and Punctuation 24 points above the Qld State Schools mean.
  • Spelling 17 points above the Qld State Schools mean.
  • Reading 7 points above the Qld State Schools mean.
  • Numeracy 4 points above the Qld State Schools mean.
  • Writing, Spelling and Grammar and Punctuation results all above the national mean.

These results once again show Narangba Valley’s students performing highly against any measure of achievement.  Narangba Valley High continues to achieve results that can make our whole school community feel proud!

Congratulations to all of our Year 9 students and to their teachers and parents for all of the hard work involved in achieving such outstanding results!

Year 12 Level of Achievement Performance 2015

Total Yr.​ 12 = 335 (136 OP eligible; 199 vocational), equates to 1893 individual subject results for the school.  Of these there were 8 Ds and no Es from the cohort.  This means that there was a 99.5% pass rate in the school, with 100% of students achieving a Queensland Certificate of Education.
