The Narangba Valley State High School has an expectation that all students will reach their potential and meet the common standards of effort and behaviour ready for their transition to further education and the workforce.

In order to facilitate this, the Individual Learning Centre (ILC) offers various forms of support:

  • Students with a disability are assigned a case manager to offer support whilst the student is at school and provide information regarding external agencies.
  • Students with a disability are given an Individual Support Plan to inform teachers of adjustments that can help the student succeed.
  • Identified English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) students may access support from the EAL/D coordinator.
  • Homework support during lunch breaks.
  • Access program for support for literacy and numeracy.
  • Literacy and numeracy short courses for Year 10 to 12 students.

For more information please contact Jocelyn Bagdonas, Head of Department.
