Enrolment Management

​Narangba Valley State High School has an Enrolment Management Plan (EMP)​ in place, with enrolments restricted to our Catchment Zone. Students may apply for consideration for enrolment who live outside this zone and these will be considered in line with the capacity of the school. 

​Please note students may apply to join one of our Programs of Excellence which are exempt from the EMP. If you wish to be considered for a Program of Excellence, you must select this on your enrolment application. A link to the Program of Excellence application will then be emailed to you for completion. Additional Program of Excellence information can be accessed from here.

2025 applications for Year 7 open on Tuesday 21st May 2024.

The Junior Secondary team will be running twilight information sessions for families joining us for Year 7 in 2025. These sessions contain valuable information to assist students in their transition to High School at Narangba Valley. You can view the topics, schedule and book a spot using the link below. ​

How to apply:

To streamline the enrolment process, we kindly ask you to ensure you have the following supporting documents prepared for upload:

  • Birth Certificate
  • School Reports, including NAPLAN results
  • Medical Management Plans
  • Visa details (if applicable)
  • Proof of Residency – In Catchment Applications only (2 documents required: Rates/lease agreement and a utility bill such as gas, electricity, or phone)

This form is crucial as it provides us with insights into your child and grants essential school permissions. It is an integral part of the enrolment process and must be submitted along with the application.

Step 2: Fill out the Application Form

​Please note that your details are linked to your email address, so it is essential to use the same email address consistently.​

In Catchment Applications

Please ensure you have checked the Enrolment Management Plan (EMP)​ 

to ensure you are in catchment. Submitting the correct form will ensure your application is processed efficiently.

Out of Catchment Applications

We assess out of catchment applications in order of receipt. If you are out of catchment and are looking to enrol as part of a sibling enrolment, the sibling must be an active enrolment in the year your student will commence at Narangba Valley State High School.

What Happens Next?

​Our Enrolments Officer and the Executive Leadership Team will carefully review your documents. Subsequently, we will contact you via email notification to inform you of the outcome of your application.
