Supporting Our Students for NAPLAN 2025

As we approach the 2025 NAPLAN testing period, we encourage all students to give their best effort and approach the tests with confidence. NAPLAN is just one part of their learning journey—four tests that provide a snapshot of literacy and numeracy skills, helping to guide future learning.

Your support is invaluable! Ensuring your child is well-rested, has a positive mindset, and is familiar with the online testing format can make a real difference. If your child is completing NAPLAN online, please assist them in downloading the Locked Down Browser (LDB) ahead of time to ensure a smooth experience. A new Windows LDB has been released to assessform for NAPLAN 2025, to address some technology developments that have the potential to impact Windows devices. No changes are occurring for iPAD and Mac devices. Students will again be supported with this process on Wednesday morning.

While NAPLAN is important, it doesn't define your child's abilities or potential. Encourage them to simply try their best—that's all we ask! With your encouragement and a balanced perspective, they can approach NAPLAN with confidence and resilience.

At school, we use NAPLAN data to identify strengths and areas for growth, helping us tailor our teaching to support student learning. It's a valuable tool, but just one of many ways we assess progress and plan for success.

Please see the school testing schedule for specific dates and times. If you have any questions or need further information, don't hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your ongoing support in making learning a positive and successful experience.
