Students who demonstrate a talent or have a strong interest in Drama at NVSHS have the opportunity to audition for the Drama Troupe. The Drama Troupe is a dedicated group of students from Years 7-12 who participate in the after-school rehearsals focused on developing performance skills and ensemble work.
Students in the Drama Troupe have opportunities to perform for a range of audiences through school productions, showcase events and selected external performance opportunities such as Theatresports. The program allows students to extend their learning beyond the classroom.
Participation in the Drama Troupe requires a strong commitment. Students are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals and events. It is also an expectation that if you are a member of the Drama Troupe you are enrolled in Drama as a curriculum area of your studies.
