Open to Instrumental Music students in Years 7-12 (and primarily featuring our senior musicians), Stage Band performs engaging repertoire spanning jazz standards, funk, rock and contemporary styles.
The ensemble typically includes saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drum kit, bass guitar and piano, and may also feature vocalists. Students develop stylistic interpretation, improvisation skills, rhythmic precision and confident stage presence through focused rehearsals and live performances.
Stage Band provides musicians with the opportunity to explore expressive, groove-based repertoire in a collaborative and high-energy performance setting.
